You are warmly welcomed to worship at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd.

Services of Holy Eucharist are held during the Chautauqua Institution summer season, from late June through late August. The chapel is fully accessible. Look for the elevator lift to the porch on the Park Avenue side.

  • Volunteer to serve as a lay Eucharistic minister, reader, or usher using this form.
  • Sign up to donate altar flowers using this form.
  • Submit prayer requests using this form.

Sunday Services

Holy Eucharist: 7:45 & 9:00 a.m.
7:45 – Start your day in calm and tranquil worship at the chapel with a concise Eucharist service of spoken word Rite II and a brief sermon and communion.
9:00 – A full Eucharist with familiar hymns, sermon, holy communion in the glory of a new day. Morning Has Broken! Gluten free wafers available for all Eucharist services.
All are welcome to enjoy coffee hour after the 9am Service at the Episcopal Cottage located just down the red brick path toward the Amphitheater.

Weekdays

Holy Eucharist: 7:45 a.m. (Monday to Friday) This brief Eucharist is prepared by the chaplain of the week with the readings of their choosing.
Tea at the Episcopal Cottage Tuesdays 3:15pm after the 2pm Dept of Religion lecture at Hall of Philosophy. Refreshments provided by a local parish within the Diocese.
Bible Study: Wednesdays 8:30am at the Porch of the Episcopal Cottahe
Compline: 7:00 p.m. Friday
