The Rev. Joe Kozlowski

I am Joseph Kozlowski. I was ordained in the Roman Catholic priesthood on May 26, 1973. I was received (along with my wife, Robin) into the Episcopal Church in 2010 and married Robin at Christ Church in Lockport in 2010. I was received into the Episcopal priesthood in 2011 by Bishop Michael Garrison.

I served as a Roman Catholic priest for 37 years and spent 17 years in Orleans County as pastor of 3 churches (St,. Mary in Holley, St. Mark in Kendal and St. Rocco in Hulberton which I eventually closed and sold to the Baptists). I am currently a Supply Priest for the Genesee Regional Initiative serving ironically or providentially back in Orleans County at St. John in Medina, Christ Church in Albion and St. Paul in Holley.

I am proud of the Sunday evening ecumenical Eucharist, Faith Sharing and Discussion gathering in St. Paul in Holley on the 4th Sunday of the month. It gathers some of my former Roman Catholic parishioners with the current parishioners of St. Paul as well as other member of the Genesee Regional Initiative and others of the surrounding area.

I also supply at various churches in the Diocese of WNY as my schedule permits. I serve as the Supply Priest at the closing weekend of the Good Shepherd Chapel at the Chautauqua Institution and also serve as the chairperson of the Constitution and Canons Committee of the Diocese of Western New York.
